In the heart of the Augé Watch lies a global compass. Our technical choice of a global needle nested on a disc, fluid in motion and precise in function, is engineered for accuracy on a global scale.
WHY A COMPASS?
The Earth rotates on its axis every 24 hours, making the sun appear to move across the horizon. By calculating the angle between the sun’s position and the magnetic pole using a precise compass, the time can be determined. Adjusting the bezel allows for seamless adaptation to different time zones.
